During the first quarter of the 19th century, long-striped skirts became dominant in Northern Estonia, first around Tallinn, and a little later in Viru County, the main colours being blue, green and bird-red.
Viru-Nigula parish is a historical parish in Viru County. The parish was founded in the 1220s on the basis of the ancient parish of Mahu.
The parish was bordered by the parishes of Lüganus to the east and Haljala and Rakvere to the west.
Materials from
The floor cushion patterned fabric is a linen-cotton blend, the pattern is woven into the fabric. The underside of the floor cushion is made of moisture-resistant PVC fabric. The inner cushion is filled with cotton wool.
Maintenance
The floor cushion has a removable cushion envelope that is machine washable to 40 degrees. We recommend washing with fabrics of the same colour. Bleaching and strong tumble drying are not suitable.
